The U.S. State Department has informally notified Congress of a proposed $8 billion arms sale to Israel that includes munitions for fighter jets, attack helicopters, and artillery shells, according to sources including Axios and reporter Barak Ravid. The deal comprises specific munitions such as AIM-120C-8 AMRAAM missiles, AGM-114 Hellfire missiles, 155mm artillery shells, GBU-39 Small Diameter Bombs, JDAM kits, 500-pound warheads, and FMU-152A/B bomb fuzes.
