Elon Musk Unveils Tesla Cybercab and Robovan Under $30,000 at 'We, Robot' Event
Oct 11, 2024, 03:20 AM
Tesla CEO Elon Musk unveiled two new autonomous vehicles at the 'We, Robot' event: the Cybercab and the Robovan. The Cybercab, a self-driving robotaxi with gull-wing doors, features no steering wheel or pedals and is expected to cost under $30,000. Production is slated to begin in 2026. The Robovan, designed for high-density transport, can carry up to 20 people or cargo, aiming to reduce transportation costs significantly. Both vehicles represent Tesla's push towards fully autonomous, affordable electric transportation solutions. Tesla also aims to roll out fully unsupervised FSD in Texas and California by 2025.
