Tesla unveiled its long-awaited robotaxi, dubbed the 'Cybercab,' at the 'We, Robot' event held at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, CA. The Cybercab is a fully autonomous, two-seater vehicle with butterfly-wing doors and no steering wheels or pedals, marking a significant step in Tesla's advancements in autonomous technology. CEO Elon Musk arrived at the event in the Cybercab and took the first ride. The event also featured updates on the Optimus robot and the Tesla Semi's Full Self-Driving (FSD) features. Additionally, Musk introduced a surprise vehicle, the 'Robovan,' a self-driving minibus intended for the Tesla Network. The Cybercab is expected to go into production before 2027. The event kicked off at 10pm ET.
