Monaco GP Secures Six-Year F1 Deal Until 2031 With Date Change to Avoid Indy 500 Clash
Nov 14, 2024, 10:21 AM
The Monaco Grand Prix will remain on the Formula 1 calendar until at least 2031 following a six-year extension to its contract. The iconic race, held in the streets of Monte Carlo, has secured its place in the championship with an agreement that includes a schedule change. Beginning in 2026, the Monaco Grand Prix will move from its traditional end-of-May date to the first full weekend of June each year. This change means that the race will no longer coincide with the Indianapolis 500, allowing for better scheduling of motorsport's marquee events.
