A fire broke out at a hotel in Kartalkaya Ski Resort in Bolu, Turkey, resulting in at least six fatalities and 31 injuries. Of the injured, 26 are in moderate condition and two are seriously injured. The blaze, which started around 3:30 a.m. in the restaurant section of the hotel, quickly spread throughout the building. Emergency services, including fire departments, AFAD, UMKE, and health teams from the city center, districts, and surrounding provinces, were dispatched to the scene. Efforts to extinguish the fire and evacuate the hotel's 234 guests are ongoing, with the fire now largely under control. Bolu Governor Abdülaziz Aydın reported that two of the deceased jumped from the building in panic, one being a hotel employee and the other a guest. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and the Bolu Chief Public Prosecutor has initiated proceedings.
