Polish PM Tusk: Russia Planned 'Very Dramatic' Air Terror Acts Against Airlines Worldwide
Jan 15, 2025, 02:50 PM
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has accused Russia of planning 'acts of air terror' against airlines worldwide, including sabotage and diversion operations. Speaking after a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Warsaw, Tusk said that Russia was planning acts of air terror not only against Poland but against airlines around the world. "Without going into details, I can confirm the validity of fears that Russia was planning acts of air terror," Tusk stated, adding that some acts of sabotage or preparations for diversion were "very dramatic." He emphasized that these sabotage efforts are versions of the war that Russia has declared to the whole world, not just Ukraine, and called for allies to respond collectively to these threats.
