Jan 2, 2025, 10:16 PM
Wayne Osmond, singer, guitarist, and founding member of the Osmonds, has died peacefully at age 73 in Salt Lake City. A family spokesperson confirmed that Osmond passed away on Wednesday night after suffering a massive stroke. He was known for performing alongside his brothers Alan, Merrill, Jay, Donny, and Jimmy in the million-selling 1970s musical group "The Osmonds," famous for hits like "One Bad Apple," "Yo-Yo," "Down by the Lazy River," and "Crazy Horses." Wayne Osmond had previously overcome a near-fatal brain tumor in 1997 after collapsing onstage. His family paid tribute, stating his "legacy of faith, music, love, and laughter have influenced the lives of many people around the world," and that they "will miss him dearly."
