French President Emmanuel Macron has proposed Philippe Pascal, the current Chief Financial Officer of Groupe ADP, to replace Augustin de Romanet as the CEO of the company. Groupe ADP manages the Paris airports of Charles-de-Gaulle, Orly, and Le Bourget, which are 50.6% owned by the state. Pascal's nomination requires approval from both the National Assembly and the Senate, followed by validation in the Council of Ministers. Pascal, a 53-year-old tax specialist, has been with Groupe ADP for 12 years and has served as CFO since 2016. The decision comes after a period of uncertainty regarding Romanet's successor, who had agreed to extend his interim role into early 2025.
