Elbridge "Bridge" Colby was nominated for Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, and Michael Duffey for Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition. Emil Michael was selected as Under Secretary for Research, Keith Bass as Assistant Secretary for Health Affairs, and Joe Kasper as Defense Secretary's Chief of Staff.
