Novak Djokovic overcame a first-set loss and an injury scare to defeat 21-year-old Carlos Alcaraz 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 6-4 in a three-hour and 38-minute Australian Open quarterfinal match. Djokovic, 37, described the encounter as 'one of the most epic matches' he's played. With this victory, he advanced to his 50th Grand Slam semifinal, becoming the first male player in the Open Era and second overall after Chris Evert to reach this milestone. The ten-time Australian Open champion is now two wins away from securing a record-breaking 25th Grand Slam title and his 11th title at Melbourne Park. Djokovic will face Germany's Alexander Zverev in the semifinals.
