The Israeli military conducted an airstrike targeting a vehicle in the Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarm, West Bank, resulting in the deaths of two members of Hamas's armed wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades. The strike killed Ihab Abu Attiya, the commander of the Al-Qassam Brigades in Tulkarm, and another member, Ramez Al-Dumairi. The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that the attack also injured three others, with injuries ranging from light to moderate. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet confirmed the operation, stating it was a joint effort to eliminate Abu Attiya, who was involved in multiple shooting attacks.
