Tuttle Capital Management has filed for 10 leveraged cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds (ETFs), marking a significant move in the crypto market. The proposed ETFs aim to provide 2x leveraged exposure to a variety of cryptocurrencies, including XRP, Solana, Litecoin, Cardano, Chainlink, Polkadot, BNP, Bonk, and the memecoins TRUMP and MELANIA. This filing represents the first U.S. exchange-traded product (ETP) applications for assets like Chainlink, Cardano, Polkadot, BNP, and the Melania memecoin. The leveraged ETFs use financial derivatives and debt to amplify the daily returns of the underlying securities, a strategy that could test the limits of what the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will allow.
