Vince McMahon, the former CEO and co-founder of WWE who left the company under a cloud last year, has settled charges with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) over undisclosed payments related to allegations of sexual assault. McMahon agreed to pay over $1.7 million, including a $400,000 civil penalty to the SEC and reimbursing WWE $1.33 million. The SEC alleged that McMahon signed two settlement agreements with women without disclosing them to WWE’s board of directors and company officials.
