SpaceX's Falcon 9 Booster B1067 Completes Record 25th Launch and Landing, Deploys 21 Starlink Satellites
Jan 11, 2025, 03:11 PM
SpaceX's Falcon 9 booster B1067 has achieved a record-breaking 25th flight and landing, marking a significant milestone in rocket reusability. The booster, which debuted on November 11, 2021, has an impressive flight history including missions such as ISS resupply, Crew-3 and Crew-4 launches, and 14 Starlink deployments. On its latest mission, it successfully launched 21 Starlink satellites, including 13 equipped with Direct to Cell capabilities, from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The launch faced delays before liftoff occurred at 2:11 pm EST. After deploying the satellites, the booster landed on the droneship 'Just Read the Instructions,' completing its 25th mission with a turnaround time of 37 days since its last flight. This makes B1067 the first orbital-class rocket to complete 25 launches and landings.
