On December 18, 2024, Red Bull Racing announced that Mexican Formula One driver Sergio Pérez, 34, will depart the team after four seasons. Despite having a contract until 2026, Pérez and Red Bull have mutually agreed to part ways following the 2024 season. Pérez, who joined Red Bull in 2021, achieved five victories and 29 podiums with the team, contributing to two Constructors' Championship titles.
