This move, confirmed by sources familiar with the matter, indicates Bitwise's interest in expanding its ETF offerings to include the meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin ($DOGE). The registration, which occurred on January 22, 2025, through CSC Delaware Trust Company in Wilmington, is seen as a preparatory step rather than an official ETF filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
