An Air Canada flight made an emergency landing at Halifax Stanfield International Airport on Saturday night after experiencing a landing gear malfunction. Flight 2259, operated by PAL Airlines under Air Canada Express, was arriving from St. John's when its landing gear failed to deploy properly. The aircraft's left wing scraped the runway upon landing, causing a fire on the left side of the plane.
