Nubit Launches Goldinals, A Unified Bitcoin Asset Protocol Backed by Polychain, Enhancing Programmability with Verifiable Indexer
Jan 12, 2025, 05:35 AM
Nubit has launched a new Bitcoin asset protocol called Goldinals, which aims to unify over a hundred Bitcoin protocols. This initiative is supported by Polychain and is designed to enhance the programmability of Bitcoin by providing a verifiable indexer, addressing the limitations of existing off-chain indexers that BRC-20s, Runes, and Ordinals currently depend on. The introduction of Goldinals is expected to facilitate smart contract functionality on the Bitcoin network, potentially transforming the Bitcoin ecosystem by reducing reliance on centralized systems. The protocol utilizes BitVM technology to improve asset standardization and interoperability within the Bitcoin community.
