FBI Probes New Orleans Terror Attack Leaving 10 Dead, 35 Injured; Suspect Jabbar Not Acting Alone

On January 1, 2025, a vehicle-ramming and shooting attack occurred on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, leaving at least ten people dead and 35 injured, including two police officers who were shot. The FBI announced that they are investigating the incident as an act of terrorism. The suspect, identified as Shamsud-Din Jabbar, was killed in a confrontation with law enforcement.
