Brightline, the high-speed passenger rail service, is raising $2.5 billion in private funding for a bullet train project connecting Las Vegas to Los Angeles. This initiative comes amid significant changes for Brightline since Donald Trump left office four years ago. The company has also taken legal action to challenge a union drive among its onboard attendants in Florida, despite having received tens of millions of dollars in federal transit grants. Additionally, Brightline announced that new commuter passes will be introduced as an interim measure while it collaborates with local counties to establish commuter lines in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties.
