Dec 21, 2024, 07:04 AM
Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has granted sanction to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to prosecute AAP chief and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in connection with the excise policy case. The ED had sought permission for prosecution on December 5. BJP leaders have welcomed the move, with Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva calling Kejriwal the 'kingpin' of the scam. AAP MP Sanjay Singh has denied the reports, dismissing them as 'baseless' and demanding proof of the approval.
