British singer Sir Elton John, 77, has revealed that he has lost his eyesight following a severe eye infection he contracted in September. Speaking at the gala performance of 'The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical' in London's West End, which he co-wrote the music for, Sir Elton told the audience, 'I have lost my eyesight and I haven’t been able to see the performance, but I have enjoyed listening to it.' Despite his vision loss, the legendary musician expressed his appreciation for the show's cast and music. He noted that the healing process has been 'extremely slow.' Sir Elton has been supported by his husband, David Furnish, whom he called his 'rock' during his health struggles.
