Elton John, 77, Reveals "I've Lost My Eyesight" at 'Devil Wears Prada' Premiere

Sir Elton John, 77, has revealed that he has lost his eyesight after battling a severe eye infection contracted earlier this summer. Speaking at the Sunday gala performance of "The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical" in London's West End, where he composed the music, he told the audience, "As some of you may know, I have had issues and now I have lost my sight. I haven’t been able to see the performance but I have enjoyed hearing it, and boy, it sounded good tonight." The music legend expressed his gratitude to his husband, David Furnish, 62, who guided him to the stage and whom he called his "rock" during this challenging time. Sir Elton also shared his concern that he "won't be around" to see his sons get married. Despite his vision loss, he remains engaged with his work and continues to receive support from family and friends.
