New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft has fired head coach Jerod Mayo after just one season, following a disappointing 4-13 season. In a press conference, Kraft called the decision one of the hardest he's ever made and took full responsibility, stating he put Mayo in an "untenable situation". He expressed that Mayo needed more time before taking on the head coaching role.
