Turkey Seizes 136,904 Liters of Counterfeit Alcohol, Uncovers 21 Distilleries and Processes 279 Suspects

In a nationwide effort against illegal alcohol production, Turkish authorities conducted operations named 'ÇENGEL-14 and ÇENGEL-15' across 81 provinces. These operations resulted in the seizure of 136,904 liters of counterfeit and ethyl alcohol. Additionally, 21 illegal distilleries were uncovered, and 279 individuals were processed as suspects in connection with these activities.
