On December 16 Yemen time, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that it conducted a precision airstrike targeting a key command and control facility operated by the Houthi Ministry of Defense in Sana'a, Yemen. The facility, within Houthi-controlled territory, was used for tracking and coordinating attacks on U.S. Navy ships and commercial vessels in the Southern Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.
