Nick Fuentes Survives Assassination Attempt by John R. Lyons, Triple Homicide Suspect, in Berwyn, Illinois

Nick Fuentes, a far-right streamer, reported an assassination attempt at his home in Berwyn, Illinois, on Wednesday night. The assailant, identified as 24-year-old John R. Lyons of Westchester, was armed with a pistol, crossbow, and incendiary devices. Lyons was killed by Berwyn police after he allegedly committed a triple homicide earlier that day in Mahomet, Illinois, killing Sara Mason, 26, Janis Mason, 61, and Caleb Mason, 23. During his attempt to evade police, Lyons broke into a nearby home and killed two dogs. The incident was captured on video, showing Lyons approaching Fuentes' door while Fuentes was livestreaming. Following the doxxing of his address, Fuentes stated he is unharmed and is seeking donations for private security. The Illinois State Police Public Integrity Task Force is investigating both the police shooting and the triple homicide.
