Hamas Recruits 10,000 to 15,000 Fighters, Many Young and Untrained, Amid War with Israel

Hamas has recruited between 10,000 and 15,000 fighters since the start of its war with Israel, according to two congressional sources briefed on U.S. intelligence. These sources also reported that a similar number of Hamas fighters have been killed during the same period. The new recruits are described as largely young and untrained, primarily being utilized for basic security tasks.
