Israeli Military Uses Explosive Robots and Quadcopter Drones to Attack Kamal Adwan Hospital, Wounding 20
Dec 25, 2024, 01:42 PM
The Israeli military has conducted multiple attacks on Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, employing drones and explosive-laden robots, resulting in significant damage to the facility and injuries to patients and medical staff. According to reports, the hospital, located in Beit Lahiya, has been targeted repeatedly, with at least five instances of explosive robots being detonated near the hospital. The attacks have caused extensive damage, including the destruction of doors, windows, and walls, and have left the hospital barely functioning. Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, the hospital's director, reported that the assaults have led to injuries among the medical staff and patients, with one nurse, Hassan Al-Dabous, suffering severe head injuries while working in the ICU. The use of quadcopter drones dropping 20-kilogram explosives has been noted, further escalating the situation, with at least 20 patients wounded. The Israeli military's actions have been condemned by international bodies, including the World Health Organization, which expressed deep concern over the attacks on healthcare facilities.
