Secret Service Agents Investigating Anti-Trump Video Denied Entry at Chicago's Hamline Elementary
Jan 24, 2025, 09:15 PM
On Friday morning, Chicago Public Schools (CPS) officials reported that federal agents attempted to enter Hamline Elementary School in the Back of the Yards neighborhood but were denied entry. Initially, CPS claimed the agents were from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE); however, ICE denied involvement, stating that its agents were not at or near the school. It was later clarified that the agents were from the U.S. Secret Service, investigating a threat related to an anti-Trump TikTok video posted by an 11-year-old student. CPS CEO Pedro Martinez stated that staff turned the agents away. The Secret Service confirmed they were investigating a threat and approached the school but did not enter.
