Trump Administration Initiates Deportation Flights, Aims to Send Clear Message
Jan 24, 2025, 12:21 PM
The Trump administration has initiated deportation flights for illegal immigrants, utilizing U.S. military aircraft. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced that these flights have begun, emphasizing President Trump's commitment to enforcing immigration laws. The operation aims to send a 'strong and clear message' to the world about the consequences of illegally entering the United States. The White House released photos of individuals boarding military aircraft as part of this operation. This move follows Trump's campaign promises and early executive actions aimed at curbing illegal immigration. The administration arrested 538 immigrants with criminal histories, including sexual assault, robbery, burglary, aggravated assault, drugs and weapons offenses, resisting arrest, and domestic violence, from multiple countries such as Afghanistan, Angola, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Senegal, and Venezuela. Hundreds of these immigrants have already been deported.
