CENTCOM Reports Non-U.S. Coalition Member Killed in Operations Against ISIS in Iraq

The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that a member of the international coalition was killed and two others were wounded during operations targeting Islamic State (ISIS) in Iraq over the past week. The operations, conducted from December 30, 2024, to January 6, 2025, were part of the ongoing campaign to defeat ISIS. The casualties were from non-U.S. coalition forces, and no U.S. personnel were injured during these operations. The strikes took place in the Hamrin mountains of Iraq, aimed at known ISIS locations.
