An Azerbaijan Airlines passenger plane crashed near Aktau Airport in Kazakhstan on December 25, 2024, while attempting an emergency landing. The Embraer E190 aircraft was carrying 67 people, including five crew members, on a flight from Baku, Azerbaijan, to Grozny, Russia.
