The European Court of Justice ruled in favor of Intel, annulling a €1.06 billion ($1.45 billion) fine imposed by the European Commission in 2009. The case, which spanned nearly two decades, centered on allegations that Intel had abused its dominant market position by offering rebates to PC makers such as Dell, Hewlett-Packard, NEC, and Lenovo.
