Nigel Farage, leader of Reform UK, has been elected as the Member of Parliament for Clacton-on-Sea on his eighth attempt. Farage secured the seat with 21,225 votes, defeating the Conservative candidate who received 12,820 votes and the Labour candidate who garnered 7,448 votes. Farage's victory marks his first successful bid for a parliamentary seat after seven unsuccessful attempts. He won with a majority of 8,405 votes. Following his win, Farage declared, 'We are coming for Labour, be in no doubt about that,' and expressed his intention to build a national movement.
