U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris announced a significant aid package totaling over $1.5 billion for Ukraine at a peace summit in Switzerland. The aid includes $324 million redirected towards emergency energy needs, over $379 million in humanitarian assistance from the State Department and USAID, and additional funds to bolster Ukraine's energy sector, which has been severely impacted by Russian attacks. This package aims to support Ukraine's energy infrastructure, humanitarian needs, and civil security. The announcement was made in a White House statement.
