Lil Durk, a Grammy Award-winning Chicago rapper, has been indicted on new federal charges related to an alleged murder-for-hire plot. The charges stem from an incident in August 2022 near the Beverly Center in Los Angeles, where Durk is accused of orchestrating the revenge killing of Quando Rondo's cousin, Saviay’a Robinson. The new charges include one count of conspiracy, one count of use of interstate facilities to commit murder-for-hire resulting in death, and one count of using, carrying, and discharging firearms and a machine gun. Durk was transported from Broward County Jail to federal custody in California and faces the possibility of life in prison if convicted.
