The group's military wing, through spokesperson Abu Ubaida, stated that their adherence to the agreement is contingent upon Israel's compliance. Hamas emphasized that the success of the ceasefire depends on Israel's commitment and warned that any violations by Israel could jeopardize the process. The agreement is described as a result of the Palestinian people's steadfastness and resistance against what Hamas refers to as 'Zionist terror'.
