FSB Head Accuses Ukrainian and Western Intelligence of Crocus City Hall Attack
Jun 11, 2024, 09:47 AM
The Director of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), Alexander Bortnikov, has announced that the agency has established the involvement of Ukrainian military intelligence in the recent terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall near Moscow. Bortnikov also mentioned the potential involvement of Western military intelligence in the attack. However, no proof or additional details were provided. Bortnikov further accused Ukrainian and Western intelligence services of expanding their range of possible perpetrators recruited to commit high-profile crimes in Russia and assisting in their training and equipment for international terrorist organizations. Additionally, Bortnikov accused the Ukrainian army of ongoing attempts to penetrate into the border regions, likely the Belgorod region.
