TikTok to Auto-Label AI Content, Joins Adobe-Led Coalition
May 9, 2024, 03:16 PM
TikTok has announced a new policy to automatically label AI-generated content across its platform, effective immediately. This initiative aims to enhance transparency and combat misinformation by marking AI-generated images and videos with special watermarks, indicating that the content is AI-generated. Notably, this includes content from AI tools like OpenAI's DALL-E and Adobe's Firefly, and from certain platforms. TikTok's move, a first among video-sharing platforms, also involves adopting the Content Credentials system as part of the Adobe-led content credential coalition to further the authenticity of digital content.
