UKMTO Reports Missile Strike Near Ship in Southern Red Sea Off Yemen

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) has reported an incident involving a commercial shipping vessel approximately 98 nautical miles south of Al Hudaydah, Yemen, in the Southern Red Sea. The vessel's master reported a missile impacting the water close to the port side of the ship. Authorities are investigating the incident, which is suspected to be an attack by the Houthis. This would be the first such attack since May 17th. Despite the missile strike, the vessel and its crew are reported to be safe.
