RFK Jr. Sues Meta Over First Amendment Violations, Election Interference on Monday
May 13, 2024, 11:50 PM
Independent US presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and a super PAC supporting him have filed a lawsuit against Meta Platforms. The lawsuit alleges that Meta interfered in the election by blocking a political advertisement titled 'Who is Bobby Kennedy?' on Facebook and Instagram. The suit includes claims of First Amendment violations and election interference. The super PAC further alleges that Meta colluded with the government to censor Kennedy's campaign material. An exhibit in the suit shows Meta's AI did not mention Kennedy's video. The lawsuit was filed on Monday and also names Mark Zuckerberg.
