Aligned Layer Raises $2.6M, Partners with StarkWare, O(1) Labs to Boost Ethereum
Apr 16, 2024, 02:00 AM
Aligned Layer, a zk proof verification layer for Ethereum, has successfully raised $2.6 million in a seed funding round. The round was led by Lemniscap and saw participation from BanklessVC, PaperVC, with strategic investments from StarkWare Ltd, and O(1) Labs. This funding aims to enhance Ethereum's capabilities as a settlement layer by providing developers with affordable, fast, and cheap proof verification for various proof systems. Aligned Layer operates on top of EigenLayer and is designed to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of Ethereum's Layer 2 ecosystem. The company has also announced a partnership with Ingo_zk to create a full-stack ZK infrastructure platform, aiming to bridge the gap between provers and verifiers for enhanced scalability and innovation.
