The New York Police Department (NYPD) has taken a 25-year-old man into custody in connection with the rape of a 13-year-old girl in broad daylight in Kissena Park, Flushing, Queens. The incident, which occurred on June 13, involved the suspect holding the victim at knifepoint. The suspect, an illegal immigrant from Ecuador who entered the U.S. in 2021, was identified through newly released video and images by the NYPD109Pct.
