Hudson's H.R. 38 Seeks National Concealed Carry Reciprocity with Trump's Support
Jan 8, 2025, 09:43 PM
Representative Richard Hudson has introduced the Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act (H.R. 38), a bipartisan bill aimed at ensuring that the Second Amendment rights of individuals do not end at state lines. The legislation would allow people with state-issued concealed carry licenses or permits to transport a handgun to any other state that allows concealed carry. The bill has garnered support from more than 120 House Representatives and has backing from prominent Second Amendment advocacy groups such as the National Rifle Association (NRA), Gun Owners of America (GOA), the National Shooting Sports Foundation, and the U.S. Concealed Carry Association. President Donald Trump has expressed support for national concealed carry reciprocity, and Representative Hudson is looking forward to working with him to get the bill signed into law.
