The UK is developing a new weapon designed to eliminate swarms of enemy drones using radio waves. This cutting-edge technology, which costs only 10p per shot, can disable the critical electronic components of enemy threats from a distance of 1km. Defence Minister James Cartlidge was shown the new capability by the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl). The weapon, developed in collaboration with various partners including Thales UK, is aimed at ensuring the readiness of the UK Armed Forces for future threats. The British Army is focusing on countering threats such as Putin's drones.
