IDF Probe: Hamas Militants Likely Killed Hostages in October 7 Kibbutz Be'eri Attack; 13 Israelis Killed
Jul 11, 2024, 04:07 PM
An Israeli army investigation has revealed that 13 Israelis were killed after an Israeli occupation tank targeted a house in Kibbutz Be'eri on October 7. The findings from the IDF probe indicate that Hamas militants, and not tank fire, are likely to have killed the hostages during the brutal massacre. Members of Kibbutz Be'eri, who were the first to hear about the findings, responded with both appreciation and a call for further investigation into the events. The probe also cleared Brig. Gen. Barak Hiram of allegations that he ordered the killing of hostages held by Hamas terrorists inside a house. The attack resulted in the destruction of hundreds of homes, the death of 101 residents, and 30 more being taken hostage. The IDF’s probe concluded that the tank shell fired on the house where terrorists were holed up with 15 hostages did not kill any hostages.
