Caitlin Clark's WNBA debut with the Indiana Fever against the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday night drew an average of 2.12 million viewers on ESPN platforms, making it the most-watched WNBA game in 23 years. The game peaked at 2.3 million viewers between 7:45 p.m. and 7:59 p.m. This viewership surpasses that of two NBA Christmas Day games last year and beats the NHL playoffs in TV viewership. The game set a record for any ESPN/ABC/ESPN2 WNBA broadcast since May 2001. Clark posted ten turnovers, the most ever for a player's professional debut.
