Jets Trade for Davante Adams from Raiders for Conditional Pick, Reuniting with Aaron Rodgers
Oct 15, 2024, 02:21 PM
The New York Jets have agreed to acquire star wide receiver Davante Adams from the Las Vegas Raiders in a trade that reunites him with quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The Jets will assume the remainder of Adams' contract, including the prorated $11.67 million for 2024 and non-guaranteed totals of $36.25 million in 2025 and 2026. The Raiders will receive a conditional third-round draft pick that could become a second-round pick if Adams is named first- or second-team All-Pro or if the Jets reach the AFC Championship Game or Super Bowl with Adams on the active roster. Adams and Rodgers previously formed one of the NFL's most prolific quarterback-receiver duos with the Green Bay Packers, amassing 622 receptions, over 7,500 receiving yards, 69 touchdowns, and a 71–36 record together. Adams is reportedly already in the Jets' facility undergoing a physical to finalize the trade.
