Stripe Integrates with Avalanche, Boosts Crypto UX with Core App
Apr 29, 2024, 01:05 PM
Stripe, a major payments platform, has expanded its cryptocurrency services by integrating with Avalanche, a blockchain network aiming to rival Ethereum with faster and cheaper transactions. This integration allows applications on Avalanche to use Stripe for fiat on-ramps, enabling users to buy cryptocurrencies like AVAX, the 13th largest digital asset, directly within apps. Core, a prominent app within the Avalanche ecosystem, has become the first to offer this feature, supporting various payment methods including ACH, debit, and credit cards. Stripe Link enhances user experience by pre-filling payment info for existing network users. The integration is seen as a significant step for enhancing user experience in the cryptocurrency space, making it easier for users to transition from fiat to crypto. Additionally, multiple dApps on Avalanche, including the zeroone marketplace, are integrating Stripe to facilitate easy purchases.
